Takign a deep breath, Raymonde entered the hall where every one was arriving to take their breakfast. It was early in the morning, as the sun had just awoken, however life still roamed in the castle as squires scurried around silently, completing their assigned orders. Looking at them, it brough him back to some long and dreadful memories, but he soon dimissed them and went to grab an apple in the large fruit ball. He was not to hungry, he decided, as he left the hall to venture the long corridors. He wanted to go to the library, yet he did not want to face the astuffy air now and the strong smell of books and parchements. He wanted to wonder, biting into his apple, and linger into the realms on his mind. Anyway that would be good, as he wished not to be disturbed.

The night before, Tsulana and her father had arrived and had been given their rooms. Her father had told her that she could wander around all she'd like, but to Not. touch. anything. Since she will be here for a month, that's gonna be a lot of wandering. Her father is going to be very busy with meeting with the rest of the parliment and therefore she's going to "learn" things on her own; as her mother insisted.
Heel-toeing step-by-step down the long corridor, she looked at the designs of the walls, ceiling, and floor, and so her head was turning this way and that out of wonder and curiousity. Of course she couldn't disobey her father's orders not to touch anything, so she just decided to take the road of learning by looking. From the previous corridors she walked through, she saw many portraits of the Patronus descendants. When she turned to walk backwards, she accidentally tripped over her own foot and fell backward. But she immediately stood back up and started walking forward as if nothing had happened. She walked and wandered with curiousity and with her hands crossed behind her back.

Raymonde silently turned the corner, his eyes flickered to the floor, a frown creased on his brow. He was deep in hsi thoughts as he walked absent-mindly through the corridors, not paying much attention to the other people who scurried past him. However, he had heard a hollow thump echoe through the corridor, but he did not pay much attention to it. As he slowly walked through the lost corridors where the portraits, paiting of the great leaders hung, his eyes slowly flickered up. he saw a girl there, looking at the painting with admiration and awe. He was not surprised as most people did this when they walked down the corridor. As he walked slowly towards her he pretended how he had not seen her in the first place.

When Tsulana saw a man walking toward her, she gave a small smile. "Hiya!" she said in a cheery way. She made a little hop as she said this, causing her curly hair to bounce like springs.
"What's your name? I'm Tsulana. Are you from around here? I'm not, I'm from the Knight's Reign. What's your favorite color? Mine's blue!" she said this all very quickly, still grinning in a friendly way. Of course, she did this to almost every stranger who came into her sight. Asking questions, answering them with her own experiences, with the strangers having to wait until she's out of breath.
"Do you know where the library is? Because I wanna read and my father said I could learn stuff around here since I'm one of the smartest kids in my class!" Smarts and brains of a regular twelve-year-old, immaturity and personality of a little seven-year-old.

He raised an eyebrow, slightly bewildered by her sudden outburt. Her had kind off left wordless as he took a few steps back. "Umm...I'm Raymonde and I'm a knight here and the library is just down the stairs and around the corner," he said, his voice soft and cold. he was slightly amused though of how he spoke to her. She was young, he could tell that but it seemed that she was even younger with a personality like that.

At first at the sound of his cold yet soft voice, Tsulana had her head tilted in curiousity as her gigantic smile turned into a small curious one in the blink of an eye. Her wide brown eyes then sparkled with curiousity.
Her face went back to the giant grin. "Thank you, sir!" she said cheerfully. She giggled a bit and began strolling back down the corridor. This was a bit strange, considering she would most likely stay and get to know Raymonde a little more. She began to hum a tune that popped in her head that she'd heard many times in her lifeon her mother's piano.

He frowned and raised an eyebrow as he watched her go, however he thus realized how she was going to wrong way. Turning around the wrong corners. Her stode towards her, catching her up and curled his fingers on her shoulder. "No," he shook his head. "You're going the wrong way. Come i'll take you. Its kind off conusing here," he said, his voice like it had been before.

Tsulana turned her head to him once she felt his hand on her shoulder and stopped. Her face was her expression of curiousity once more from the sound of his voice.
She nodded. "Okay," she said, turning to follow him. Just something... something about the man made Tsulana react differently than she would with other people. She'd ask more questions, bounce all over the walls, turn into the total spazz like she's suppoed to be.

They were silent, however Raymonde could feel her eyes lingering upon him. He rew uncomfortble in the silence as he was eager to break it at any costs. "So...," he said looking for something to say. Anything. "What are you doing here, in the castle? And why are you wondering through these corridors alone." His voice was calm and a whisper, soft and somewhat, cold.

"My father brought me here to learn new things; he's a judge in the government here. Since he's currently busy in a meeting with the other groups, he told me to explore and maybe find the library," Tsulana replied, her dark eyes sparkling. "He didn't bring my brothers or sister, so that's why I'm walkin' around here alone." Once again, when her wandering eyes gazed around the halls, she ended up turning herself around to walk backwards.

Raymonde turned and wondered back to watch the pictures which he had seen so many times. "Oh really?" he asked, raising an eyebrow and pretending to be somewhat intrested. "How many brothers and sister do you have?" he asked. He stared at the pictures which he had seen so often, hwoever he did not pay much attention to them. They had become boring, really.

"I have two brothers and a sister. One brother is older than me, one's younger than me, and my sister's younger than me," Tsulana replied. Then she tripped over her own foot, causing herself to fall backwards. But she immediately rolled herself over on her stomach and jumped back on her feet within two seconds. She acted as though nothing had happened, as her eyes sparkled once more.

It all had happened so sudden and soon she was back on her feet. He was slightly surprised, really. " Are you okay?" he asked, raising an eyebrow, as he looked down at her. " I mean, a normal girl of your age would simply start crying," he pointed out.

Tsulana blinked and tilted her head a bit to the side. "Crying? It didn't hurt too much. After a moment it goes away, so I don't think I need to cry. Besides, I'm twelve! I'm not supposed to cry over something like that, that's what mother said," she said, smiling. She went back to the subject of siblings. "Hey, do you have any brothers or sisters yourself?" she asked.

His face turned colourless for a moment as he looked away, his expression turning grimmer, darker. He bowed his head, letting his hair fallin in front of his sombering eyes. "Had,"he whispered faintly, before avoiding her eyes and looking in the opposite direction. "Lets not talk about, shall we?" he indicated, before sighing and chaning conversation. "DO your brothers and sister come here often? how old are they?" he said, switching conversation.
