A rush of thoughts ran through Tsulana's head. What was wrong? He had brothers and sisters? Well, what happened to them that was so bad that he didn't want to talk about it? Tsulana, being so curious, wanted to ask all of these questions to him. She refrained, referring back to the way he reacted when she asked the question of his siblings. She decided to just go with the flow of conversation.
"Nah, I'm the first one of my father's children to come here. My siblings are back at the Knight's Reign with my mother. My older brother, Matthew, is fourteen. My younger brother, Johnathan, is ten. Then there's my sister, the youngest, who is at age nine. Her name's Elizabeth."

Raymonde turned to look at her and forced a little smile. "That's good," he said. "You're lucky, then to be the first one here." He turned to look away, though, not really waiting for her to answer. He sensed something. There was something wrong. His eyes narrowed as he slowed down his pace. They were walking through the great hall now, where people, scholars, servants, squires, pages scurried around. There was always people here, always sounds rushing around. Echoing. But now there was nothing. Silence. It was an eerie, uneasy, silence. It was almost too silent as all could be heard were the whispers of the wind which rushed through the trees, speaking their ancient unknown langauge. Raymonde stopped and put his hand in front of Tsulana indiating for her to stop. "Stop," he mumbled, his voice soft, a mere whisper.

Tsulana obeyed and stopped. She looked around with curiousity, wondering what was the problem and why they had to stop all of the sudden. She too noticed how silent it was, with the wind whispering through the trees. She didn't know whether to call it strange or weird, because she didn't really know how they were in the great hall. She looked up to Raymonde.
"What's going on?" she whispered. Her eyes began to show worry. They began to wander back into scanning the area around them, seeing if anything moved or if anything was moving at all. She sharpened her hearing to see if she could hear anything moving, but all she heard was the wind. What was wrong?

Raymonde took one more step forward, slowly and cautionsly. However, out of no where, shot an arrow, hssing through the air and hitting the floor in front of him. Raymonde shot to look at the arrow bfore at Tsulana. He rushed over to her and set out this force-field around them as another arrow shot out, yet bounced of the force-field that Raymond ehad set around them. He could not hold it long as his energy was slowly draining away. Slowly fading and he still wanted some left if anything did happen.
He took Tsulana's hand quickly and hastily led her to shelter, around a coner and out of the hall. He dropped his force field the minute he left her in a dark corner which seemed out of the way from any harm. "Stay there," he apnted, crouching down by her.

Everything went by so fast that Tsulana didn't have enough time to react to anything. She quickly followed Raymonde who led her into the dark corner. When appointed to stay there, she nodded. She looked at her shelter's surroundings, seeing a potted plant nearby. If anything were to happen to her, she could use her power over earth to defend herself. But just in case, she transformed into a small black kitten so she would be harder to spot.

Raymonde turned and ventured into the centre of the large hall, sword in hand. He grasped it tightly as he strode around, looking to see if anything was coming at his back. "Show yourself!" he called out. He had trained all his life for these moments to come. To prove his strenght and skill, however this time he knew that he was not dealing with something normal.
Another arrow shot out from no where and hit him by his feet. He spun around, following the direction to where the arrow had come from. There were little windows at the high peaks of the hall and by one of these windows he saw a shadowy figure, heavily cloaked, a bow in hand. He was luckily that the person did not have another, more deadly, weapon.
The stranger turned to look at Raymonde, making him shiver. He was all alone adn so was Raymonde. The stranger looked around, under his dark hood and jumped down from the high window and landed in the hall. Raymonde was slightly surprised that he could leap like that, as he raised an eyebrow, however anything could happen in these lands.

Tsulana wanted to help somehow, wanted to see what was going to happen. In her shelter she felt useless and helpless, staying behind and waiting for the victor of the battle. But what if she was seen and killed? Her life would end suddenly and her father would be held responsable for not looking after his own kid in the castle. Her mother wold be sorrowful. Most dreadful things would happen.
But what if the threat of this battle won? What would Tsulana do? Keep cowering in the corner? She decided to take chances, and go back around the corner. Once at the corner, she hid behind a large potted plant and hidden by the shadow of it, considering she was a black cat and was very small to spot. The plant was against the wall, but she could still squeeze through it without being noticed. She stayed hidden in the small gap between the pot and the wall.

Raymonde looked at the stranger, the killer, as he raised his sword. The stranger's face was shadowed as Raymonde could hardly see it and identify it, but he could guess who the killer was; a dragon slayer. Raymonde's eyes narrowed, as he waited for the dragon slayer to do the first move. Raymonde was somewhat, fearful, but tried to hide his fearfulness under a mask. he had to be a knight. Be brave, honourble, like he was taught to be. Not a coward, who ran away. However, Raymonde was dreading to what was going to happen next.
The dragon slayer attacked first taking, raising his palm and casting out this foul spell. Not having time to defend himself, Raymonde was trust on his chest as he hit a wall. All his muscles pained him, his bones ached and so did his mind. Groaning, but not being able to linger long, he raised to his feet. He could hear the dragon slayer chuckling under his breath. Chuckling mockingly, bitterly. "You pathetic, weak, coward!" he heard the Dragon Slayer call out. Raymonde immediatly felt insulted as he casted his own spell. Suddenly there was a gust was wind, making all fly, making dust move around, like a sandstorm. Raymonde could control this as he had the wind element on his side. He had the advantage now.

Tsulana watched in amazement, seeing how Raymonde was getting the upper hand. Maybe she didn't have to help. She didn't have to get in the way. She didn't have to put her life in danger, but at least she coud still watch it all. The stranger in the cloak appeared "scary" in Tsulana's shimmering eyes. Millions of theories popped into her head; monster, boogie-man, vampire, any little horrors of a child's nightmare. Raymonde, in Tsulana's eyes appeared as the hero of a fairy-tale.

Raymonde walked forward, his face quick and his eyes alert as he looked around. The stranger seemed to have dissapeard all together. He could not seem him anywhere. His eyes narrowed, as the wind blew around him, blowing his hair in front of his eyes. Although he had the advantage, it was still hard to see. Very hard, in fact.
However, suddenly he felt a presence behind him and thus something was put to his throat. A sword. He was pushed back, as he felt the blade against his neck. One move and he was dead. Raymonde immedaitly went colourless. He had been taken by surprise. He felt his killer's breath on his cheek. What a pathetic way to die for a knight, he thought. Yet it was not over. he still had some vague hope.
Spinning around in time he let his blade clash with the slayer's. there was a loud clang and soon they began a dance with swords, moving to and fro. Raymonde had to be quick as the slayer moved swiftly as the wind blew violently around them, making a loud noise. It was somewhat tiering as they fought, testing each others skills. It was of great hardship, but he could not fall yet. Not now.

Tsulana had her eyes covered when the dust flew all around them. She peeked one eye open to see the slayer's blade on Raymonde's throat. She covered her eyes again, not willing to watch his fate. But when the clashing of swords were heard, she peeked one eye open again and saw them being evenly matched, the wind still flying everywhere. She wished greatly for other people to come in and help him; but it seemed only Tsulana was the one who could possibly join in. She was too young, too fragile for this type of battle. She would have to be resourceful with the plants, maybe summoning a deadly animal or two. She'd mainly be on the defence line.
Then the Patronus family came into her mind. When was the meeting going to be over? When will the Patronus descendants come into the halls to stop the slayer? They should be powerful, Tsulana thought, being the descendants of the first people who set foot on Draconia from Earth.

Blood suddenly soaked his tunic as the slayer slashed him the shoulder. Raymonde cried out in agony and winced as he felt the cut go deep into his flesh, making him bleed terribly. He could not go on like this. He had not guessed for the slayer to be so powerful, so strong. This was utterly unexpected.
Stumbling back, he dropped his sword with a loud clang against the marble floor and walked a few paces back. He made the wind stronger, with greater force, making it seem that Raymonde was vanishing with the wind, as objects flew all around the place along with dust. He could not let the slayer win. He walked back until the reached the wall. He pressed himself against the wall and raised his palm. All his body was shaking violently as he was in terrible pain. He could feel his blood trickle down his arm. He had to end this quickly before anything else happened to him.
Hearing something bang and clatter, his eyes snapped up. the slayer was around, walking blindly. he could not escape. Another bang and clag and then a curse. the slayer was not far off. Follwoing the sound, tracing it, Raymonde stopped and murmured a spell. A large bolt of lightning hit the slayer on the chest as he heard a yell. He knew he had hit him and suddenly he felt a rush of pride. The hall shook, as the limp form hit the other side of the hall. Raymonde knew he was dead. He could have hardly survived such spell, but now Raymonde was in fear that he too would suffer the same fate as he felt his energy slowly drain away with his last spell.

Once again, during all of the banging and clanging, Tsulana had her eyes covered with her tiny paws. Once she heard the yell of the slayer, she uncovered her eyes. She saw Raymonde injured and against the wall. Tsulana crawled out of her hiding place behind the pot and ran to him. She stopped and sat down a foot in front of him with her large, dark sparkling eyes looking up at him. She meowed a bit.
Now Tsulana felt helpless. She didn't have the natural ability to heal, and nor is she advanced enough in magic to cast such a healing spell. Could she summon somebody who who knows how to heal? Impossible, she thought, she'd have to know their estimated location in order to summon them here. She thought hard, thinking of what to do. She wanted somebody to just walk over with healing powers to help Raymonde. In the mean time, she thought of all the people she had with healing powers and their supposed location. Her sister Elizabeth? No, in one of the large unknown classrooms at school. Her father? She didn't remember exactly where the meeting room was. She began to panic.

Raymonde panted as he felt sweat trickle down his forehead as he clutched his arm. He was panting now, panting and feeling his breath escaping him. It seemed painful to breath now, as he fell against the wall and onto the ground. He could hear nothing now. No one seemed to coming his way. He was alone. With a small black cat who was meowing at him. He forced a little smile but let it fade as his mind turned to the wound. He looked at in, a worried expression on his face. He had so little energy left. He could barely breath now.

Tsulana could see him dying slowly. Her time of descision was running out. Finally, she decided to summon her teacher, whom she knew was in the same place at this time of day.
