Tsulana jerked awake with pain in the back of her neck. She lifted her head up, seeing the thick and rough ropes bounding her to the chair. Suddenly, she heard voices draw closer to the room. She let her head hang like it was before when she lost her conciousness. The voices entered the room.
"What do we do if she wakes up? What if she's one of those people with powerful magic?"
"She doesn't seem much of a threat, actually. A small little girl, doesn't seem very life-threatening... I think we can handle her."
"But she is the daughter of a man in the Rider's Government, correct?"
"Of course, our spy reported that she walked in with a man from the Judge group."
They exited the room. Tsulana could hear the clicking of the door locking from the inside. She lifted her head up and glanced around in the darkness. Through the bottom crack of the door streamed light, and the window was covered in dark, thick curtains. Where was she? Why did they kidnap her like that?

Aelaëra watched Chakra sneak out of the woods behind the castle itself, waiting for the signal to retrieve her and the little girl from the high tower. The old dragon laid low in the shadows of the tall, tall trees, hoping Chakra would come out safely.
On the other hand, Chakra saw a wheeled cart start to come out of the woods as well. Thinking quickly, she climbed up a tree and hid herself within its leaves. When they cart came to the very edge of the forest, she landed behind the cart, pushing herself off from the ground and swinging herself over the ledge of the cart. She landed nearly quietly within the large sacks of... potatoes? She shook her head and searched around the cart; the gate guards are going to check if the cart was safe to take inside of the walls, and she needed cover. She spotted a spare potato sack and slipped over her head and past her waist. She hid the rest of herself in between the potato sacks.
The cart rumbled and shook from the uneven and rocky path as it was pulled by the brown mare horse. Chakra felt the cart come to a stop, and the gate guard's deep voice telling the cart to halt. She held her breath as the guard checked over the sacks. She hoped her stealth uniform didn't stick out of the sack and catch the guard's eye. After all, this is the first time she had to infultrate a place like this at night, where she needed to blend in. Unlike in the daytime, where she can wear her scout uniform and freely kick Dragon Slayer butts to the skies. She waited for the cart to make it through both of the walls that surrounded the castle.
Seeing the shadows of both of the walls that passed over the cart, Chakra peeked in between the threads that made little holes for her to see through. The cart was at the very outside of the castle. She quickly wiggled herself out of the sacks of potatoes and slipped off the cover. She leapt off the cart slithered into the bushes, her boots silencing her steps on the dark green grass.

Tsulana thought it over. She was the daughter of a man from the Rider's Government. It hit her like as speeding bullet; they were going to use her to weaken the Riders' defences!
She began to squirm in the ropes. It was no use. She ran thoughts through her head once more; transformation. She closed her eyes, and had an image of a small mouse in her mind. When she opened her eyes, she felt herself fall and hit the hard wooden chair. The ropes fell around her, but at least she was free. She sniffed around with her tiny little nose, her whiskers tickling the sides of her face. With her tiny pink paws she climbed over the ropes, climbing her way down. The ropes extended off from the chair, so when she tried to get onto the chair she rolled off the ropes and fell onto the floor. She landed with a small squeak, coming back on all four paws and shaking her tiny head. She opened her wide, beady eyes, which have become accustomed to the darkness.
Her ears flinched and her nose twitched. Her ears stood up stiff and she sat up on her back paws. Her black eyes grew wide as she saw a dozen pairs of red eyes staring back at her; rats.

Chakra leaned her back against the stone, looking left and right to make sure that no head was looking in her direction. She felt around her waist for the special gloves that allowed her to climb stone walls, almost like spider-man from Earth; only, her gloves were meant for stone.
"Put your hands in the air, young miss," boomed a voice. She turned her head, seeing the shadow of a man's head in a metal helmet. the glinting sword against the luminous moonlight pointed at her neck. Damn. Chakra thought.
"I said put your--" he suddenly choked when Chakra's ankle met his throat. The sword dropped and stabbed the dirt as the guard fell back with a loud thud. Suddenly, she heard other voices of alertness, giving away her presence. She acted quickly by diving into a bush and searching for her gloves, letting the flashlights brightly move back and forth. She slipped on her special gloves and ran against the perimeter of the walls, searching for an unguarded spot where there was no light.

Change back! Change back!! frantically thought Tsulana, as she froze with fear. The fear got the best of her, knocking her off concentration and unable to change into something else. She scampered around the chair, looking for a way out. Unfortunately, the red eyes surrounded her and were drawing closer and closer with each passing moment.
Using the little splinters on the legs of the chair, she clawed her way up the leg and over the ropes. She turned her head and peered over the edge, watching the red eyes surround the chair. From the small window above her shone a ray of the moon's light. When the eyes came into the light, Tsulana saw the giant, hairy rats coming closer. Their fur was in dissaray, they smelled foul with the wreek of sewers, and their fangy teeth hung from an enormous jaw. Their eyes glowed brighter when it was illuminated by the moon. Tsulana squeeked, climbing into the shelter of the coiling ropes. She curled up into the bal, hearing the scratching noises of the large rats climbing up the chair.
Change! Change! she looked up, seeing the eyes peering down at her. CHANGE!! NYA~!!
And suddenly, the image of a phoenix came into her mind.

The cunning rescuer scaled up the walls, making sure she stayed within the shadowed side of the tower. She arched her neck back and twisted it around, so her face could view the scrambling guards below her. She stayed still for a moment, making herself flat against the stone wall.
"Did you see him?"
"No, I didn't!"
"Keep your eyes peeled!"
"Make sure the prince is safe!"
"Don't the sly little bastard out of your sight!"
Chakra smirked. Obviously the guard she kicked in the throat wasn't able to tell them that their little intruder was a teenage girl. Then again, they would become proud of themselves and think that they can handle such a person.
They were indeed quite wrong.

The firebird's immense wings spread themselves wide, catching itself aflame and setting the ropes and chair on fire. She let out a great cry, burning the rats on the chair to ashes. She took off from the chair, crashing through the window and burning away its thick curtains. The glass flew into many different directions. Because of her illuminating flames, her eyes slightly caught the rogue rescuer clinging to the wall for a split second, but just thought it was a trick to her eyes. She brought her head forward and cawed into the night.
Tsulana thought for a second. Wasn't it in mythology class that she learned that the phoenix was supposed to be male?
Oh well. She didn't care what the great firebird's natural gender was. She only cared that the transformation got her out of there. As her wings flapped, they ceased their glow of torching fire to hide her in the air in the darkness. She had teleported herself away to safety.
She was free.

Chakra's eyes followed the bright torch of fire flying over her head, her mouth dropping open in awe. Stupidly, her head and neck arched back to keep the giant firebird within her sight. This idiotically caused her to fall back, losing her grip on the wall. She fell back with a loud yell as the bird disappeared suddenly. She fell into the bushes, making plenty of noise to draw the guards near. From the bushes, she received many scars and scratches along with large bruises from her landing.
She flinched when she felt two pairs of hands lift her up by the arms and begin to drag her away. She tried to shake herself away, squirming herself free. But when unsuccessful, she released an electric charge to shock the guards, making her lightning soar into the sky and signaling Aelaëra hiding in the woods. Chakra ran for it, hoping to lose them.
Unfortunately, the guards actually thought of smart moves to make; the gates were closed and the walls were guarded on every inch. More guards surrounded Chakra, making it almost impossible for her to escape. Overhead, Aelaëra flew in circles. At first, Chakra's hope began to rise. But then, with the great dragon's cry she felt pain in her arm. She too let out a cry.
"Aelaëra! Get out of here, NOW!" she shouted. Aelaëra, letting out another roar, obeyed. A net flew over Chakra's head, forcing her to the ground. Formerly the rescuer, the rogue was now the kidnapped.
