Let's splash some more color into the cultures of these two opposing forces. Let's look further into their government and how they run it. First off, will be the Dragon Riders.
Their type of government is more under the oligarchy. Of course, of the main blood line from the Patronus family, so it's kind of a monarchy too; only, without all of that king, queen and princess stuff. Therefore, all five must agree on whatever solution is needed for an issue. The tradition of this oligarchy is that five people lead their nation. But recently, it has been decided that dependant on the growth of the population, and the tradition will rise to seven people. But these people can't run a territory all by their lonesome selves, now can they?
Two other small groups; each with ten people. If a decision is hard to make, one group of ten people will go to the people for a small vote. Only two or three towns will be chosen from each section to take vote. Two people from this group will go to which section they represent, and chose two or three towns to take place in it. But these people are merely approved by the Head Group (Patronus people), yet appointed by the other group. By the way, ths voting is only plan C. This group is called the Group of the People, otherwise the People's Group.
Now the second group, is the Judge group. This also has ten people, and two each represent each section. So a total of five people represent each section. Obviously this group is appointed by the Head Group and approved by the People's group. This group helps run the courts and the consequence of crime, and especially enforce the law. These are very wealthy and educated people, and so they help in making decisions as well when the Head Group needs help.
Powers are divided amongst these people, whom also represent the five sections of the Rider's territory. One, is mainly in charge of the sea and is called "Port Torum," since it has the larges shore out of the sections. It supplies fish.
Another is the main defence/offense, called "Knight's Reign," nicknamed "The City of Protectors". This section takes up most of the territory's wall.
The third one is like a peninsula, and is another Port. But it is also a great place to farm, since the lands are rich with soil and have plenty of plains. It is called "Crop Lands" (yes, a simple name, I know).
The fourth one has some of the plains coming from Crop Lands, a shore with a port, and has some of the defence of the wall; but mainly defence. It is called "Defender's Reign." It is filled with rangers and magical people.
The last one, is called "Head Lands," because this is where the Patronus castle is located and where the oligarchy group makes the decisions. If the Dragon Slayers penetrate all five sections, including this one, they. are. doomed.
And that is it! Any questions, PM the admin.
