These are the classes (or jobs) available- Of course, if your character is old enough they could be a knight or a page for the Slayers or the Riders.
Stages of Knighthood- These stages are very similar to the ones of the Medieval Ages of Earth, but can have slight differences.
Page- This training to be a knight starts at age 7. The page becomes a servant in the house of a nobleman (yes, this exists around here). There the page leans how to serve, obey, and act in a noble court. The page is also taught how to hunt, ride a horse, and to speak languages. They are taught weaponry and basics of knighthood and the code of courtesy (or chivalry). But unlike the ones of our Medieval Ages, the page has the ability to go to school and learn to read every other day.
Squire- Starts at the age of 15 or 16. They learn to have discipline, and has a knight as a master. The Squire receives serious training learning to battle on horseback. He rides with his master into battles, carries any extra weapons, and helps him in many other ways, too. But they still go to school every other day as they did when they were a page. They continue this stage for about five years. But they also learn a few stages of magic as well.
Knight- Here's the age limit of becoming a knight-20+. There are a group of squires every year who become knights, and they have a ceremony called an Accolade. (You know, where they all line up and the King or Queen/One of the leaders say, "Rise, sir ______") But remember that the duty of a knight is to protect the defensless and be loyal to ones land of birth. They can also do a sum of spells as well.

Other Classes~
Farmer- A person who takes care of the farms in the farmlands of his or her lands.
Fisherman- A person who fishes in the oceans nearby.
Engineer- A person who plans or directs a complex undertaking.
Nurses or doctors- Very similar to the ones of Earth, except they're much more experienced because a lot of people get hurt by creatures oftenly!
Scout- A person who watches for intruders, for sometimes it's a bit difficult to tell a Rider from a Slayer; and these guys are the experts. But sometimes when the knights are busy fighting outside of the territory, these guys stay behind and fight the ones that slip through the barricades.
Police- Like a mix of knight and scout, only patroling the streets and protecting the innocent.
Firefighter- Of course this job is more important to the Dragon Slayers, considering most dragons have the ability to breathe fire. But sometimes the Riders need them for the fire mythical creatures too.
