The Common European Dragon
These dragons live mostly in a mountain, or a sea cave in a remote area. These dragons are very commonly known, because of the fairy tales of Earth (knights slaying dragons, capturing maidens, etc, etc...)
The European Dragon can of course breathe fire, but not by methane cases or iron teeth. They do it by combining venom (coming from a certain tooth in the mouth) They also have a spark pouch in the lower jaw in order to light the venom and make fire.
They are most commonly to be a color of red, green, or black. They can be 13-17 ft. high, and can be up to 45 feet long (adults, of course. The dragon chicks are much smaller.)
IMPORTANT!
Do not think that dragons capture innocent maidens for food. They eat cattle or sheep, but only eat humans if there is nothing else; they think humans taste bitterly. The reason why they capture maidens are because the fact they have a love for treasure and jewelry; and maidens just so happen to wear some of their favorite jewels (Rubies, Emeralds, amethysts, diamonds)

Knucker Dragons
As heard from the myth at St. Synnove Academy. Knuckers are "cousins" of the European dragons. They live in damp, woodland locations found wherever they can get their food. But their dwellings are either deep ponds, wells, or "knucker holes".
The reason why this dragon became a myth of the well at St. Synnove Academy, was because it eats Rabbits, deer, farm animals, and stray children (Yes, that means they can eat humans; whatever they can find).
Knuckers are like giant salamanders, except with very small winds, a long neck, and can be a dull red or a greenish blue color. Therefore, they can constrict their victims like a Boa Constrictor, only they have venomous bites. They can be up to 30 feet long and 3-6 feet high.

Frost Dragons
Very rare around Draconia, considering they only live in cold temperatures, which is very up north.
Very unlike the European Dragon, this dragon can blast frost or ice. It has a very long tail, making it up to 40 feet long, and 12-15 feet high. Don't worry about the human eating part; they only eat giant squid, polar bears, orcas, walrus, and leopard seals.
They normally live in a sea-facing cave hollowed out from a glacier or an iceberg. Their coloration can be pure-white, or white tinged with blue or pink.

Ths Dragons of the Southeast
Lindworm Dragons
These dragons tend to hunt in pairs (So the myth of a lindworm running around Pembroke school could be fake, because they said a lindworm goes on a "troublemaking kid killing spree"). They normally hunt Bactrian (two-humped) camels.
They can be of a gree color, a pale orange, or a sandy yellow. This dragon doesn't have any backlegs, all it has are its two front legs. They can be 35 feet long, ans 8 to 10 feet high. IT lives in a shallow scratch or nest in the earth, out of the wind.
Tibetan Dragons
These dragons look very much like the Asian Lung. It only eats large mountan apes (yetis) and sometimes yaks. IT can be up to 40 feet long, and 10-12 feet high. It's most commonly the color invariation of a red, with a possible mix of orange.
Tibetans love the high altitudes, and therefore like being in the high skies very often. In the summer, they live on the open mountainside, while in the winter, they live in a shallow den of snow. So they don't really stay in the same place; they just keep shifting.
Asian Lung Dragons
Lungs are mostly found near the water. They live usually in an underwater cave or grotto. It can be up to 40 feet long, and 12-15 feet high. It's colors can be blue, black, white, red, or yellow.
Lungs aren't really known to attack anyone; they're more of a peaceful type of dragon. Unless necessary, they only defend themselves. with their horns, teeth, and claws. The females carry their egss in their claws (for safety) , and it looks like an oversized pearl. Therefore, they hoard their treasure in their dwellings instead of laying eggs there.
They usually eat birds and fish, and strangely (and particularly) roasted swan.

Other Species of DragonsWyvern DragonsWyvern Dragons are the biggest kind of dragon around (though, the Great Dragon of the Skies coudl possibly be larger). They can be up to 50 feet long ( ) and 18-20 feet high (.__.; They can be the color of muddy brown to line gren. Unlike most other dragons, this type of dragon only has a set of two hind legs; that are enourmous. They hunt elephants, hippos, rhinos, or other large herbivores. Their dwellings tends to be a rock crag, or occasionally a circular nest in an area of sand dunes or grass. They prefer the desert terrain. Commonly found to be in the unclaimed territories of Draconia. Amphithere DragonsThere are two kind of Amphithere Dragons; the feathered and the furry one.The color variation ranges to a tannish brown and a green with a mix of blue. They both be up to 45 feet long and 5-10 feet high. They like to dwell among the reeds on lakesides or offshore islands. The feathery one does have scales, but the feathers are mostly at the mane, the spine, the wings, and some of the edges of its tail. The furry Amphithere promarily hunts buffalo near the North and has sometimes been mistaken for a gigantic moth. The feathery one tends to hunt llamas, but both favor the large indignous mammals of the north and south. These dragons can breathe fire and lashing tails. Did I mention they only had enormous wings and no legs? Marsupial DragonsMarsupials are like kangaroos... only, in dragon format. They were thought to be extinct, but they too roam the desert lands. They prefer rocky caves. They can be 25 feet long and 15-18 feet high. They are most commonly the color of green or blue. They can breathe fire, have a lashing tail, kicking feet and boxing "fists". They normally eat any large marsupials (kangaroos, they're not cannibals); smaller prey are sought while rearing young. They do have wings, but they shrank in evolution in order to grow powerful hind legs. These are very rare dragons in the unclaimed territories of Draconia.

Dragon Offsprings
The difference that you can tell about the male and female are the horns on its head (male's are larger) and the tail, for the male's tail end is wider than the female's.
The hatchery of a dragon has to be kept warm. The nest doesn't need to be soft, for dragon eggs are very hard. Howeverm the eggs retain heat very well. The nesting mother has to breath a jet of flame over her eggs every three or four hours. Lindworm and Wyvern pairs share nesting duty, wheras only female European dragons care for their nests.
(If there are any questions about Dragon offsprings, PM Chakra.)
