Ambrose jumped o his feet and turned on seeing the others reactions to whatever it was behind him. He was taken aback for a moment at what he was seeing. "Now thats creepy." he backed away from the ghost. "You know, I just saw this girl this morning, and she was quite earthly at that time."
He looked to the others at hearing their names, and found himself wonder if they had something to do with her eithral state. "Do I even want to know?"
He took a few steps so that he would not be between the dead and living just in case. He had never been in the middle of a ghost, and he did not want today to be the first time.

"Well... she was alive today..." Chakra began, still staring at Alice. "But it wasn't our fault! The basilisk killed her! All we did was saw her fall down the stairs of the basement."
The snake... slay the snake... Alice said in a hushed tone. More ghostly students faded into the classroom. The living students shrieked and screamed, scrambling to the back of the classroom to leave Chakra, Azurii, Zero and Ambrose standing there.
The snake... the snake... they all simultaneously said in monotonous voices. they began to surround Chakra, Azurii and Zero. Chakra freaked out and backed up into Zero.
"How many of them died down there?!"

Azurii began to tremble as her knees kept knocking against each other. She stood closer to Zero. "Most importantly, what do they want from us?!"
Slay the snake... she heard one of them say. Azurii gulped down a hard lump in her throat and stepped forward.
"They must have seen how we dealt with the basilisk back there." she turned back to Chakra and Zero. "I say we get Red out of class and get rid of this thing once and for all."
"Sis, you're crazy!" Zero exclaimed.
"Zero, you have tried to jump off of the academy building, tame a wild dragon, drown a phoenix, and go down into the basilisk's basement while tied up and blindfolded, and you're calling me crazy?!"
Zero had no reply. "Then let's go then!" Azurii said, grabbing Chakra and Zero's arms and walking them to the door. She walked through the ghosts, feeling billions of cold chills run up and down her spine. Then she turned back to Ambrose.
"Well? Are you coming?"

"Wow, that is a lot of ghosts." He said as he looked around the room.
Ambrose thought for a moment. Was he going to go with them? He barely knew these people. Was it enough to trust them with his life? "Can I take a rain check?" He asked with wicked grin. He grabbed his school bag with the intention to throw it in his locker before they entered the basement.
"Lead the way and I will follow," he stated as he throw his pack over his shoulder and followed them through the ghost and out the door. "But lets not go through anymore ghost. Cause that was down right creepy feeling."

Chakra too, felt the chilling feeling after walking through them. She nodded in agreement when the suggestion of no more walking through ghosts came up.
Chakra took the lead by walking slowly to Makena's classroom. She was carefully step by step in order not to make any clattering noise that her shoes normally make. She peaked into the room and saw Makena all the way in the back row. She couldn't reach her.
"I think we'll have to manage without Red this time..." Chakra whispered. She lead them quietly past the other classrooms. But then, she heard footsteps from way behind them down the hall. She stopped, holding out her arms to stop the others. A hall monitor was just around the corner. Chakra felt a wave of panic.
"Follow my lead!" Chakra said in a hushed tone, unstrapping her shoes and picking them up. She scurried down the hall, only letting her toes lightly push her off the ground. Her running steps were softened and barely heard. She looked back at them and gestured for them to follow quickly before the hall monitor came.

Azurii did the same to her shoes and followed after Chakra. Zero looked back, hearing the hall monitor draw closer to the very corner. He reached down his ocket and pulled out a hall pass.
"You guys go ahead, I'll distract 'em and catch up later!" he said, he dashed down the hall to wear the hall monitor was. From the distance, you can see Zero's arms moving about to keep the hall monitor from moving any further. Listening closely, Azurii could faintly hear the rough excuses for Zero running down the hall. Azurii turned back to Chakra and Ambrose.
"You heard him, let's keep moving."

Ambrose had followed suite, and took off his shoes and ran after Chakra and Azurii. The realization that he was the boy didn't dawn on him at all. "hey guys, wait up a second," he pulled the pack from his back. "I need to get rid of this." Luckily, their path to the basement took them right past his locker. He throw in his bag and slammed the door out of habit.
"Oops," he said quitely through a grimmissed face. "Force of habit." He gestured them to keep moving without a second thought to the loud noise he had just made.
"So, how big is this thing anyways?" he asked in a hushed voice.

Chakra cringed a bit when the locker slammed. Luckily for them, she knew Zero had the hall monitor well-distracted. They continued down the hall.
"It's pretty big. Let's say... about thirty times bigger than your average anaconda." Chakra replied. They came to the sealed away basement door, where Zero had left the large slab of earth crushed in against the doorway. Chakra strapped her shoes back on.
"Great, right when Zero leaves..." she muttered, walking up to the slab. She extended her arms forward and closed her eyes. She concentrated her telekinetic energy at the rock. Her arms began to tremble, and then the slab lifted out of the doorway. Chakra pulled her arms in, making the slab fall forward. She put it down gently to avoid a large thud. She went up to the doorway and looked down at the fresh blood; Alice's blood.

Azurii walked behind Chakra and looked down. "Great. We need Makena and Zero."
**Meanwhile**
Zero did his best to completely distract the hall monitor. He made bathroom excuses, slipping on the floor excuses, running to the office for a janitor to clean up the mess, all sorts of things. The hall monitor, James Crawford, didn't seem to buy any of it. Even though he had a hall pass, he should be writing Gabriel up for running straight into him.
A slamming noise in the distance. "I need to see what happened, I'll be back." James said. Zero cut him off and pointed the other way. "I think it came from over there!"
James ran the way he pointed. Zero dashed the other way to catch up with the others. But he stopped at Makena's classroom. He looked through the window. It was time to use his acting skills.
Opening the door, he had a serious and worried face on. "Professor, I need Makena Heilwig. It's an emergency."
(**Use of Makena's actions Permission Granted**) When Makena came out of the classroom and the door shut behind her, Zero grabbed her arm and began to walk to where the others went.

Ambrose watched as the slab of rock was moved and revealed the blood behind it. "This is where I'm suppose to be like 'Sences I'm the guy, I'll go first' isn't." he said with a slight chuckle as he stepped forward.
he looked over his shoulder as he started down the steps. "thirty times bigger huh? This should be fun." He continued on down the stairs, partly wishing he had a light.
Once he was at the bottom of the stairs he moved forward so that there would be plenty of room for the others to join them. "Now where is this snake?" Ambrose looked around, knowing that they would soon know the answer to that question.

Chakra followed in after him. "It's here. I know it." She lit fire into her hand, illuminating the first half of the basement. But at the back of the basement, sa pair of large glowing eyes stared at them. Chakra looked away. It hissed.
"Don't look up, whatever you do." she said. Nearby on a shelf, a piece of dusty cloth sat. Chakra grabbed it, dusted it off and tore it into three long pieces. she took one of the pieces and put it on as a blindfold. She handed the other two to Azurii and Ambrose.
"Looks like there was a pretty good reason why Zero was blindfolded down here." Chakra said.
(**Use of Azurii's summoning and actions permission granted**) Azurii had summoned Chakra's and her own weapon. She wasn't sure which one was Ambrose's down in the weapon room. She tried to remember which one she saw him using once, and then summoned his swords.
Chakra stepped forward, listening to the basilisk slither and hiss toward her. She felt her arms start to tremble; she had never actually fought any dangerous creature like this before, especially if she was blinded. The knives at the ends of her staff popped up, and she charged at the hissing. Through the staff, she shot many bolts of lightning at the creature. It roared in anger.

Azurii put on the blindfold and ran toward the hissing. From behind the blindfold, she saw the flashing of light from Chakra's attack. Azurii took a turn. She charged at the basilisk and swung her own sickle-ended staff at the giant snake. It hissed and her and opened its jaws to bite, but Azurii quickly rolled to avoid its jaws from clamping her inside its large mouth. She tumbled to her feet and ran around the creature. She had only left a small scar on the basilisk's neck.

Ambrose quickly tied on the blind fold before drawing his swords. It had been several years since he had fought blind folded, but then it had been with training swords and it was a one on one fight not three on one.
Ambrose charged at the giant snake, both short sword raised to a ready position. Through the blindfold he could see flashes from the lighting bolts emanating from Chakra's staff. He had misjudged the distance between him and the snake's enormous head, and it was now inched in front of him. He could smell it's putrid breath, and it made his skin crawl. Just as the creature was about to make Ambrose into a mid day snack, a chair appeared from thin air in the serpent's gaping mouth, momentarily holding it open and given the split second Ambrose needed to slash the beasts face and separate himself from certain death.
Else where in the school, a student sitting in class taking an exam fell to the floor as his chair disappeared from beneath him.
He hoped that his rushed slash had taken out one of the basilisk's eyes, but was unwilling to peak from behind the safety of his blindfold to find out. He made his way around towards the back of the great snake in hopes he could attack it from it's blind spot. As he moved about the snake a bolt of lighting from Chakra glanced of the beast's scaly covering and hit Ambrose in the chest, flinging him into the near by wall. "Awmmm." He sat against the wall, nearly unconscious.

Chakra heard Ambrose slump against the wall after her last bolt of lightning. She heard him groan, and she guessed she hit him on accident. "Ambrose! Are you alright over there? Ambrose!!"
Before she knew it, the swing of the basilisk's mighty tail flung her at the wall. She scrambled to her feet.
"Azurii! Check on Ambrose, I'll take care of the basilisk!" she shouted, running around the large mythic reptile. She jumped toward the wall and kicked herself away, making a flip and landing on its head. She stabbed the dagger-ended staff into its head to keep herself a firm hold. The basilisk screeched and swung its head this way and that to get her off. Chakra clung onto her staff, feeling her legs swing on and off of its head as it tried to shake her off.

(**Use of the Character: Gabriel "Zero" Mallory. Permission Granted.*)
Makena had a hold of her guns when she ran down the basement. Zero ran after her. She saw the flashes of light from Chakra's staff shooting at the giant basilisk, while a figure was against the wall. She saw Azurii's sickle-staff flashing a metallic sheen from Chakra's light. She saw Chakra jump off the wall and land on the basilisk's head. While the basilisk's head was at the side view, Makena had her guns ready to fire. She aimed straight for the basilisk's eye.
But then she had to quickly look away, for the head turned to Zero and herself. Zero looked down at the basilisk's reflection, catching the gaze of its deadly eyes. When Makena looked up to Zero when the snake looked away, Azurii's brother had been turned to solid stone. Makena gasped, and was now angry with the basilisk.
She aimed carefully with her gun, having an ice shard ready to fire. She closed one eye and pulled both triggers.
Two screams; the basilisk obviously got hit, but so did Chakra.
