Plot
Welcome to the Realm where dragons and myth exist... where humans with a bit of magic ability and warrior skill fight. The Dragon Riders and Dragon Slayers have hated each others ways of life, and therefore are in a war... (No, this is NOT a Dragon vs. Human war. Everything would be in chaos.)
The war has gone on for almost a thousand years, because they are matched in battle. Rumor has it, that only a very powerful dragon that exists somewhere [in the skies] that can end this war once and for all. But, 'tis only a myth. You never know... for myths are very really in Draconia...
Background
This world is based upon the Medieval Ages, only more modern (similar to our world). Plus, this realm doesn't contain as much technology as we do. So they don't have cars, airplanes, tanks, bullet guns, etc. (because it will cause too much chaos and they think their realm will explode). Though they do have the technology to build all of that violent weaponry that we have, they are afraid the Great Dragon will kill them for making it, for these weapons will exterminate too many dragons.
They do have cell phones, iPods, all of those ways of communicating like we do today. They do have computers, television, and of course tall buildings. They do have the music instruments of today, and actually have utensils (unlike the Medieval of the past). For transportation, if they can't ride on the dragons/creatures, they have to use horses and wheels.
The Opposing Forces
The Dragon Riders
The Dragon Riders are a group of humans (that could possibly do magic) that have made a strict alliance with the dragons. These people are very peaceful when it comes to their culture, but when it comes to insulting them and the dragons, they're killing machines. They merely want to make peace with the Dragon Slayers.
The Dragon Slayers
The Dragon Slayers are another group of humans (that could possibly do magic) that absolutely hate dragons. Well, actually that is how they were raised and trained since the first generation of dragonslayers. These people are very violent (FIGHTING violence! o.o Not the other stuff.) and are mostly trained to be warriors; in order to fight the Dragon Riders. They plan to rid the world of the Dragons and the humans they've allied with.
Major cleaning and revival! It has been decided to finally pump some life back into this board, but everything's gonna just start over. Finished threads will be moved to the archives, roleplays still in progress will be temporarily put there until requested to bring back. However, it's nice to start off clean, isn't it? x3
Keep in mind that staff hiring will still be open until further notice.
